"Luba is just incredible! We are really Thankful to be in her care with teaching our children and get to experience all that she offers. We first began working with Luba 3 years ago for a music class for our homeschool group, they began with the foundations of rhythms, piano & vocals. She works with children with such patience, humor & Grace! We continue to work with Luba weekly at our pod for the last two years. She has worked with our age range of 4 -11 year olds in both group and private classes. It is so beautiful to get to witness her working with the children, it warms my Heart every time! She is also an amazing performer! Her singing, piano playing & Presence emanates such strength, beauty & feminine Spirit ❤️... She’s a Gem of a Woman!

"Luba is a giving and genuine soul who goes out of her way to connect with her students. Not only does she care about their progress as musicians, she cares about her students as people and how they show up in the world. As the head teacher of a pod she taught music to, Luba always checked in with me if a student needed extra support or needed to be challenged, or if she just wanted to consult about their progress. Additionally, Luba helped to create a song for our end of the year graduation ceremony. Luba listened to the students’ ideas, my ideas, and added in her expertise to help us create a beautiful song.
Luba cares about teaching the whole child and is a loving educator!"

"I am so grateful to have a piano teacher like Ms. Luba. I’ve been learning from her for about two years. Her passion for music and teaching is evident in every lesson I have with her. She’s incredibly thoughtful and genuinely cares about each students growth, tailoring her approaches to fit each student’s individual needs and goals. One of the most motivating aspects of learning with her, is her enthusiastic responses when I reach my goals and show improvement, her excitement is contagious and drives me to push myself further. Her encouragement, support, and attentiveness have made my piano journey not only educational, but also incredibly enjoyable..."

"For 5 years Luba was my piano teacher. I had other teachers before her and she was by far the best. Her teaching method made it so much easier to learn and understand what I was reading and playing. I was able to choose the music that I wanted to play and even though some pieces were very difficult she gave me the instruction and motivation to move forward. I would highly recommend her as a teacher."

"Ms. Luba was my private piano teacher for about 3 years. She was very passionate, professional, and knowledgeable about music and her students. I will never forget, I was so nervous about my recital that I made a few mistakes. I was so embarrassed and frustrated with myself. Ms. Luba came to me and said "it's ok, take a deep breathe." She stayed with me until I was calm. With her patient demeanor, calm voice, and smile, she creates a healthy learning environment where her students can thrive. I highly recommend her as a piano teacher.."

I teach both private and group lessons in voice, piano, theory, and ear-training to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether the lessons are for your child, yourself, or both of you together, I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. I provide a variety of practice tools and resources to help you and your child understand what and how to practice between lessons.
My teaching style is shaped by my lifelong musical journey, evolving from a student performer to a career musician and music educator. I believe the arts are a powerful vehicle for transformation, purpose, meaning, and communication. As a teaching artist, my role is to ignite the creative spark within each student and evoke their inner artist. Together, we explore the fundamental skills of music-making through carefully sequenced activities.
In a typical lesson with me, we focus on ear-training, technique, rhythmic skills, notation and sight-reading, improvisation, and assigned repertoire selections. The ultimate goal of music-making is to communicate through the language of the soul, and we embark on this journey of discovery together as student and teacher. My versatile musical background and appreciation for different musical styles enable me to connect with my students on their level.
